Who handles information

Information we handle

The directory stores public Agent Cards, their URLs, declared details, and check results. Submissions and reports include the information you enter plus a keyed hash of the requester’s network address for abuse limits. Publisher claims store the confirmed email address, proof status, and optional notice preference. The site and its hosting providers may process request information such as IP address, browser, URL, and time in operational logs.

How we use it

We use this information to operate search and the API, verify and maintain listings, handle reports and claims, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and send claim codes or opted-in card check notices. Claim emails are private; public profiles show claim status, not the email address. We do not use claim addresses for unsolicited marketing.

Providers and transfers

Amazon Web Services hosts the server, Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site, and Resend sends service email. Public card content may be republished in the directory and API. These providers may process technical information in countries outside your own.

Retention and choices

Public card checks and changes are retained to show historical reliability. Request and claim records are kept while needed for operation, security, or a claim; expired claim challenges are cleaned up. Publishers can turn off optional notices, request correction or removal, or ask about personal information by emailing support@localmark.ai. We will assess requests under applicable law.

Cookies and updates

Public browsing does not require an account. Claim and private review flows use necessary security cookies. We do not run advertising trackers on LocalMark. This notice may change as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
